Nakuru Great Golfing Safari taking 14 days and highlighting major golf safaris along the great rift valley region
Itinerary Description
Day 1 : Arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport / Windsor Golf & Country Club
On arrival you will be received by your tour representative. You will be taken to your 5 star luxury Windsgolfing or Golf & Country Club. The rest of the day is at leisure. Explore the hotel and it’s lush grounds or enjoy a game of golf at the club’s excellent 18 hole golf course. You will also be taken on a sightseeing tour of Nairobi landmarks and shopping markets. Overnight at Windsor Golf and Country Club.
Day 2 : Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort
After your sumptuous buffet breakfast, depart for the Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery as you descend into the Great Rift Valley. The lodge and its 18 hole golf course is perched on a hill overlooking Lake Naivasha. The views are stunning. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort.
Day 3 : Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort
Full day at Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort. After breakfast, spend the rest of the day palying golf or just relax by the poolside. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Rift Valley Lodge and Golf Resort.
Day 4 : Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast and the morning gamedrive, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, a bird and rhino sanctuary, famous internationally for it’s flamingoes. After lunch, you will be taken on a gamedrive around the park to spot the bird and wildlife including the endangered rhino. Enjoy the stunning view of the lake from the "Baboon Cliff’ lookout. Dinner and overnight at Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 5 : Nakuru Golf Club
After breakfast, leave for Nakuru Golf Club for playing golf. Return to the lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon gamedrive follows after lunch. Dinner and overnight at Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 6 : Mount Kenya Safari Club
After breakfast, leave for the luxurious Mount Kenya Safari Club, from where you can enjoy the fantastic views of the snow-capped mountain on the equator. Arrive in time for lunch. Rest of the day at leisure or playing golf in their 9 hole golf course. Dinner and overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club.
Day 7 : Mount Kenya Safari Club
Full day at Mount Kenya Safari Club. After breakfast, rest of the day at leisure. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Mount Kenya Safari Club.
Day 8 : Maasai Mara
After an early breakfast, leave for the airstrip for flight to Maasai Mara, the prime wildlife park in the world. The flight to Masai Mara will take one and a half hour. Arrive in time for lunch. You will experience the wonders of watching wildlife, such as Lion, Elephant, leopards, wildebeast and cheetah, during your evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Safari Club.
Day 9 : Mara Safari Club
Full day at Masai Mara. Morning and afternoon gamedrives. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Mara Safari Club.
Day 10 : Flight to Nairobi
After breakfast, depart to the airstrip for flight to Nairobi. Arrive at Wilson Airport and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for flight to Mombasa. Arrive Mombasa in one hour and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Indian Ocean Beach Club.
Day 11 : Leisure Lodge & Golf Resort
After breakfast, leave for Leisure Lodge & Golf Resort for playing golf. The whole morning can be spent playing golf. Return back to the hotel and rest of the day will be at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Indian Ocean Beach Club.
Day 12 : Leisure Lodge & Golf Resort
After a leisurely breakfast, rest of the day at leisure or playing golf at Leisure Lodge & Golf Resort. Dinner and overnight at Indian Ocean Beach Club.
Day 13 : Mombasa
After breakfast, you will be taken for a city tour of Mombasa. Visit Old Town's biggest attraction, Fort Jesus, built by the Portugese. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Indian Ocean Beach Club.
Day 14 : Flight back to Nairobi
After breakfast, leave for the airport for flight to Nairobi. Arrive Nairobi in time for your flight back home
